 When did you know you wanted to do hair? At about 7 years old. I was always giving my cousins crazy up do's and loved to cut Barbie's hair.
How long have you been doing color? 17 years
How would you describe your approach to doing hair color? I like to customize everyone's color to compliment their cut, lifestyle, and individual style.
What inspires your creativity? Stars, fashion, and education.
What advice would you give someone considering coloring their hair for the first time? Don't try to be someone else. Your possibilities are endless so be a more-creative version of yourself.
How do you customize a hair color service for each and every client? A few highlights here, a few lowlights to create shadow there. Maybe a bold piece of punky color. Maybe something so subtle only you know it's there. Or, maybe you don't need to completely obliterate your gray just disguise it a little.
What celebrity always has great hair? Jon Bon Jovi, Pink, Madonna
What's your approach to returning haircolor clients? I like to tweak color formulas as the seasons change.
